Using affirmations can promote a healthy mindset and positive outlook

Using positive affirmations during pregnancy and birth can be incredibly beneficial, helping to promote a positive outlook and feel more confident in yourself, your body and your abilities.
There are loads of suggested affirmations you can find online, but I feel the best ones, the ones that will be most powerful for You, are the ones You write for yourself.
Give this a try ...
- Write down one of your fears about being pregnant, birthing your baby or being a new parent
- Now write down the opposite of that fear, what would be the alternative if those fears weren't there?
- Turn this positive into Your Own affirmation - make them strong and determined, start with phrases such as:
- I Believe
- I Am
- I Can
- I Will
- I See
- I Feel
- Once you've got your affirmation as you want it, read it out loud, use it in Your meditation practices, write it on a post-it and stick it somewhere you'll see it every day, repeat those words to yourself until you believe it
